Specific Excluded Costs
The coverage does not include the cost of troubleshooting, service, repair, parts replacement or adjustment in circumstances where:
- the thermostat is not properly adjusted or utilized ;
- the furnace filter is dirty or blocked due to a lack of regular filter maintenance (the filter must be cleaned or replaced as needed);
- the pilot was extinguished by someone other than a Gazifère representative;
- repair is necessary because of accidental or deliberate damage, theft, fi re, fl ood, earthquake, act of war or other insurable risks;
- repair is needed as a result of abuse, alterations, repair or tampering by persons other than a Gazifère representative.
