Like you, Gazifère is concerned about the environment, and offers energy efficiency programs to help you make better use of energy in your home.
Gazifère’s energy efficiency programs are available from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012. Be sure to send us the documents we need to issue your financial assistance during that period.
The goal of Gazifère’s renovation program is to improve the thermal characteristics of the building envelope in order to save energy. To encourage ecology-friendly improvements, Gazifère offers financial assistance of $2* per cubic metre of natural gas savings resulting from renovations affecting the building envelope.
Who is eligible?
The program is intended for housing cooperatives and non-profit community organizations helping people in need. Few conditions of eligibilities apply to this program. Communicate with us to learn all the details.
What kind of work qualifies?
- Replacement of windows and sliding patio doors;
- Reconditioning of windows and sliding patio doors;
- Attic insulation;
- Wall insulation;
- Basement insulation;
- Full sealing of the building.
How do we obtain financial support from Gazifère?
Before embarking on your renovation, complete the Participant’s Guide (available soon) and mail it to the address below; a Gazifière employee will contact you to explain the procedure.
