Plan the connection to
the natural gas supply system
Plan in advance for the connection of your home to the natural gas network. Ideally, apply to be connected before construction even begins: call our Sales department at 819 771-8321 and press 6. Allow about 3 weeks for your home to be connected.
Once you are connected to the Gazifère system, you will have to hire an accredited contractor to handle the installation of interior piping for the natural gas appliances you are going to enjoy in your new abode.

For every natural gas appliance installed in your home, a Gazifère technician has to check that the installation has been done correctly. It is your contractor's responsibility to let us know when his work is done. If necessary, we can contact you to make an appointment for the inspection visit.
Plan now for the appliances you will want to add
Even if your initial plan is to use natural gas only for your furnace and water heater, you should plan now to have the piping and outlets installed that will enable you to hook up other natural gas appliances at a later date. Fireplace, stove, barbecue, clothes dryer and pool heater: these are some of the appliances most often added in the months following completion of a new home.

The land around your house may conceal a network of electrical cables, gas pipes and telephone or television cables. Before you dig, make sure it is safe to do so! Call Info-Excavation 72 hours before work begins. Technicians will check for you. There is no charge for this service.
