GAZIFÈRE’S RESPONSE TO COVID-19
May 21 update
Gradual resumption of our activities
As announced by the Government of Quebec, in the coming weeks, activities will resume gradually in Quebec, always with the agreement and cooperation of public health authorities. Thus, in addition to the priority and urgent activities that have always been maintained, we have resumed our connection and meter exchange activities. As of June 1, we plan to resume all of our activities related to equipment service calls. Please be assured that we take seriously the directives of the public authorities regarding the various health guidelines. In particular, if we cannot respect the distance of 2 meters between people during a technician visiting, we have put in place protocols, including the wearing of masks or personal protective equipment.
We also have taken steps to prevent employee and customer exposure by restricitng on business travel, cancelling large group meetings and implementing work at-home plans for roles suited to working remotely. In addition, we have provided information to our employees on universal cold and flu precautions such as frequent hand washing and have advised them to stay at home if they feel unwell.
